Playa Hermosa has become one of the fastest-growing communities in Costa Rica. Its expansion includes not only the number of residents, but also the number of tourists who visit us each year.

Playa Hermosa Association was formed in 1997 to provide a central voice to ensure respectful development simultaneously with the protection of Playa Hermosa's natural beauty.  Our aim is to ensure this beautiful resource remains a number one tourist destination while promoting the quality of life for those who live here. 

Thanks to our members' support and confidence, more reliable public services have become a reality.  Each year we continue to strive towards our goal of building a unified community, ecologically sensitive and respectful to local culture.

We want to continue to highlight and promote resolutions on issues affecting the safety and beauty of every day life in our community.
